In Sunday's annual Reynolds Wrestling Banquet, several members of the program were recognized for their outstanding achievements during this past school year. We already announced Legacy Club scholarship winner, Kane Kettering, earlier this week. Now, let's give kudos to all of the other award winning performances by the Raider team members.
Varsity Awards
There are a number of special awards given to the high school team. Some are selected by the coaching staff and others have committees that are responsible for choosing the recipients.
These awards are all part of the RHS program's Legacy: each has a compelling story behind it in honor of the respective peoples' names on the award. We will present the background of each in future blog entries. The winners were chosen with great consideration and sincerity and the young men should be proud of the honor. Finally for the varsity team, we want to recognize the young men and women seniors that have contributed many years of hard work and achieved so much for the Wrestling Program. Their four year performance includes an enviable 67-8 team record and an incredible three team state championships! They are now part of the Reynolds Wrestling Legacy.
The team graduates five (!) Senior Mat Maids. Coach Casey Taylor stressed how dedicated this group was and they were very instrumental in the program's success. Congratulations to:
