This season flew by and here we are at the final weekend of competition. The Raiders have had an outstanding season but our fearsome four have much higher goals than to just get to Hershey. So here is the last scouting report for the year (a big sigh of relief).
Again, we have schedules, links to brackets, ticket purchases and online media. Plus you get a detailed rundown of our wrestlers and their weight classses (No other weight classes are covered in this report - it's all about us!)
What they want to earn this week!
This is from the Beau Bayless' collection.
He is the only Raider to earn 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th place medals
We send four really tough guys to Hershey and each of them has the ability to stand high on the podium come Saturday. It is the first trip to Chocolate Town for Angelo and Logan. Louie is making his third treck (first as a Raider) and Chase completes his career with his fourth straight appearance at the big show.
Louie and Chase want to add to their state medal collection and hopefully their experience will help guide the two rookies on their quest to get their own medals. It is fortunate for Reynolds to have wrestled in the State Team Duals the past two years since that should help Angelo and Logan to break through the big arena jitters that sometimes affects the younger guys.
Organization of this report
This week, we have a slightly different format than used all season. The top few sections are similar with the Schedules, Viewing options and Raider History. But for the actual wrestler sections, we have different major topics all organized by the four weight classes.
For Each of our guys, I have 4 sub-topics
Weight Class by Name
The standard name, school and record list
State Rankings
State rankings once again use ratings from PA Power Wrestling and Keystone Caliber Wrestling. The PA Power Wrestling list was made before the Region tournament. KWC was updated this past Sunday and has only the wrestlers that qualified for Hershey.
Last Year at States
A list of everyone that was in Hershey last year along with the place. The weight wrestled last year is included if it is different than this year.
Head-to-Head Results
The result of any match one of our guys wrestled with anyone in their weight class.
I used a tiny font size as best I can so this is viewable on a cell phone too. But some names are just so long that there will be some text wrapping on the lists.
