Kane Awarded Lineman Scholarship!

We are excited to announce Senior Captain Kane Kettering as this year's winner of the Neal Lineman Scholarship! The winner was announced earlier today at the annual Reynolds Wrestling Banquet hosted by the Booster Club. The Neal Lineman Scholarship is currently the only award sponsored by the Reynolds Wrestling Legacy Club and as the club grows, it is intended to always be the flagship scholarship we award.

Neal Lineman's wife & daughter, Mary Lineman and Vickie Hildebrand, respectively, represented the Legacy Club in presenting the award to Kane.

Kane has committed to attend college and wrestle at Seton Hill, starting next fall. He finished his RHS career this year after achieving an outstanding 93-28 career record and qualifying for the state tournament three straight years. Along the post-season tournament path, he won section, district and regional titles. Additionally, Coach Casey Taylor claims that Kane was one of the best Team Captains in his tenure at Reynolds!

Kane joins former teammate and last year's inaugural winner, Cole Toy as a recipient of the Legacy Club's premier award. The scholarship is based on a number of categories including wrestling participation, academic performance, an essay, citizenship and financial needs. The scholarship fund is administered by the Community Foundation of Western PA & Eastern OH.

Congratulations Kane!
